My first documentary in Haiti shot pre earthquake and right after the food riots in 2008. The films shines a spot light on a society on the verge of collapse yet fighting to stay afloat. The film sets out to highlight a ray of light in a school called Edeyo in the Bel Aire neighborhood of Port Au Prince. Education is the key to success and raising a generation able and empowered to rule themselves is the mission of the school.
