Here is a preview of a wall painting I am working on. The location is The Neighborhood Silkscreen Studio in Braddock. I was invited by Transformazium to work on one of the walls in the studio.

*Special Thanks to Ruthie Stringer for helping me with touchups

The theme on the studio walls are the four elements. Having seem my recent "explosive work" at the Mattress Factory Gestures show, the girls requested I take on the element fire.

The Studio's Grand Opening is Thursday July 30th.

A little bit about the studio: The Neighborhood Silkscreen Studio joins the BCAP ceramics studio as part of the growing arts programs available at the Braddock Carnegie Library. This new resource for creativity and communication has been made possible through the generous donation of silkscreen equipment by Dipcraft Manufacturing.

Transformazium has facilitated the process of matching this resource with the available space and existing complementary arts programming at the library. We will
continue to develop public programming based on capacity and commuity need.

Our Grand Opening event on July 30th will be an opportunity for you to get involved. How would you like to use the studio? Please come and share your input, experience, excitement, and insights with us.
