    Wonderful! Simple, and beautiful. Curious about the PVC DOF you've made. Any pictures of it? Also, the artifacts on the left/right side, are those a result of the DOF, or added in post?

    Hi Trond, thanks for the comment! I'll try and get you some pictures soon. The artifacts are due to the distance of the focusing screen from the camcorder lens, and in most of those scenes, I did not correctly set that distance. In a few others,...the red tricycle and kids reading on blanket, the distance was set correctly.

    Thank you for that. I see other 'contraptions' are using a vibrating mirror inside, are you using something like that too?

    Hi fellas, here is the link to the photos. Sorry it took so long. The only thing that may not be clear from the photos is that I also cut a little pvc ring to hold in the 37-52mm step up ring. Its nice and snug in there.
