Recently we found three types of Coral Shrimp, the Fingerprint, Superb and Green (see here for video vimeo.com/49092628). As far as we knew, these were the only three.

This week we found another very interesting Coral Shrimp. Though it's carapace looks like the Fingerprint Coral Shrimp, it's arms, pincers and tail have very different patterns. This makes me think that it could be a new species.

Like the other Coral Shrimp in lives exclusively in Acropora hard coral and is very difficult to find or video, as it at the bottom on the coral branches, hidden from view. But they are so beautiful it makes the trouble of filming them well worth it.
