Reel Break Down
0-32: Worked on the procedural builder in python for all the Lego mini figures. In that
trailer, I worked on Vitruvius/wizard, all the cape rigs and Michaelangelo's Nunchuks.
32-54: Face Rigs setup with performances and Final Renders. I set up the face rigs on
these two characters in the film (as well as many others) using the Happy Feet 2 face
builder system designed by the lead face TD. I did not do any of the animation.
54-59: Screen grab of all the face pipeline tools that I wrote in Python for Happy feet 2.
59-1:09: Developed a facial rigging system for Digital head replacement on live action
CHARACTER FINALLING (Deformation fixes and cleanup after animation)
1:12-1:17: Close up ‘toupee’ geometry that the Krill is hanging onto. Attached this to the
animation performance of the seal, and fixed any deformation issues with it. I handled all
the close up “toupee” shots in the film and this is an example of one.
1:18-1:29: Deformation fixes on the back of the head Krill which was not deforming
1:30-1:36: Collision plane setup with Lovelace and the ground under the water. General
cleanup on the fat deformation
1:37-1:43: Collision fixes with sardines and Gloria/Sven beaks and general deformation
cleanup on Sven.
1:44-1:48: Sven neck deformation cleanup and fur penetration fixes with Sven and the
Loading more stuff…
