On january 20, 2012, bully breeds (descendents of the bulldog) and their friends and supporters (of both the humans and canine ilk) gathered at the Hatch Shell in Boston for a walk along The Charles River

The event was somewhat precipitated by a to a bill introduced Menino, but not enacted, that would Boston that would require pit bulls to be muzzled in public. This would go against current current state law which prohibits breed-specific legislation.

One of the purpose of this walk was to demonstrate that pit bulls and pit bull-like dogs are innately good-natured, friendly, loving dogs; it is negligent and violent people that teach them to be otherwise.
