Joe and Sasha met in 2005 at a work training class. Though the couple lost touch for a while, their paths crossed again in 2007 at a friend’s birthday party and they have been inseparable ever since. Bride Sasha was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (a common form of invasive breast cancer). Groom Joe, who suffers from narcolepsy himself, strives to make life as joyful as possible for his future wife and family.
“Since we met she has always taken care of me,” says Joe. “…Now that she has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma I am able to return the favor and hopefully make her life as comfortable as I can so that she is able to rest more and be here as long as possible for the kids.”
