For most of her life, Sierra Anderson would pack her bags in May and ship out to the farthest most isolated regions of Alaska where she would spend the next 3 months on a fishing boat. This video helps capture a piece of this lifestyle. This is edited from the POV of Bryan Cordero, one of the crew members aboard the F/V Memry Anne. Also in the film is Sierra's sister Memry. In her words..... "The smaller the village is, you find out your related to this person and that person. 'Oh he's your second cousin'....then it starts to get weird the farther out you go." There are no labor laws in this business. You work 18 to 22 hour days for 3 months straight. This is commercial salmon fishing in Chignik, Alaska.
