This a story about snowboarding (and skiing) down Mt. Lassen on the first day of Summer.

Its a perfect line down a steep couloir on the NE Face of an active Volcano.

It was one of the most enjoyable adventures in a long time. The weather gods smiled on us - dumping a few inches of fresh snow the night before we arrived and parting the clouds for the first half of the descent.

DaveTeeVee Lassen was made possible by:

Tim Rhodes who talked us into this crazy project

Mother Nature who dumped a few inches of Pow Pow and minimized the Avalanche danger

The Rangers at Lassen Volcanic National Park who made our stay enjoyable

Colin Vincent with his masterful Photography

Alex and the crew at Porters Tahoe who set us up with the right gear

Our crew who supported us but weren't able to make it - Chistopher, Lucas, Jurg, Matt and Dave

Our wives and girl friends who allowed us to pursue our passions - and not freak out when we didn't call until late...
