Rought Cuts documents Douglas Fox's experience of YMCA Derbyshire, where he became a resident in 2012 after finding himself homeless. With contributions from YMCA staff members, David Twomey and Sarah Boone, Rough Cuts raises serious questions regarding the potentially devastating cuts proposed by Derby City Council to housing services.

Derby City Council plan to slash the budget for these services from £9.9m to just £1.7m over the next two years. There are substantial fears that the impact of these cuts could be catastrophic for those that rely on the services currently provided.
