Both sharing a passion for improvisation, classical music and absurd humor decided vibist Vincent Houdijk and pianist Rogier Telderman to start a new group. Being the only two member in this band, they've started a joined search to create new soundscapes combining both instruments. Lacking a rhythmsection proves to provide new musical possibilities which they present in lyrical songs, humorous blues, free improv and compositions in line with the great classical composers. An adventurous new jazz chambre ensemble of which you will be hearing more in the near future!

Album will be released in February 2014!

Vincent Houdijk (1981) started aged eight years old with piano lessons. At 15, the sudden passing of his older brother decided him to switch to percussion. And this has not gone by unnoticed! He played with famuous Dutch artists like Wouter Hamel, Kyteman, Mathilde Santing, Marco Borsato and Guus Meeuwis among many others. With his own group VinnieVibes, he recently reached the finals of the Dutch Jazz Competition (2012). With this group he will release his first album '15', consisting of own compositions and features by Eric Vloeimans.
