This is was a lucky find as a wasps nest was blown down from its perch and landed on a chair in the direct sunlight. I think the poor wasps were fanning the eggs to keep them cool.

I shot this with my Sony HDV-V1U at two different shutter speeds 1/288 per second and 1/4800 per second. The faster shutter speed shows the wings of the wasps basically standing still, you get to see the curvature of the wings as they madly fan.
