Orte entwickeln ihr Tempo aus der Intensität und der Frequenz mit der wir sie nutzen. Im ständigen Prozess des Stadtumbaus fallen einige Orte immer wieder temporär in Phasen der Entschleunigung. Sie fallen in eine Art Winterschlaf und warten darauf, dass ihr Potential innerhalb des Stadtraums wiederentdeckt und wiedererweckt wird.
Daniel Telkmann hat das Autonome Architektur Atelier (AAA) an vier dieser entschleunigten Orte in Bremen begleitet. Das AAA stellt diese Orte auf seine eigene subjektive Art vor und erläutert an ihrem Beispiel exemplarisch den Umgang mit Leerständen im Stadtraum.
Die Beispiele stammten aus der Innenstadt, der Bahnhofsvorstadt, Oslebshausen und Blumenthal, vergleichbare Orte lassen sich allerdings in jedem Stadtteil finden.
Der Film dauert knapp 30 Minuten, im Vorfeld und Nachfeld werden einmalig Aufnahmen und Outtakes aus der Entstehung gezeigt und es besteht natürlich im Anschluss die Möglichkeit über den Film und die Problematik von Leerständen zu diskutieren.
Cities develop their pace from the intensity and the frequency with which we use them. In the ongoing process of urban redevelopment some places always fall back temporarily during periods of deceleration. They fall into a kind of hibernation and wait for their potential is being rediscovered in the urban space and resurrected.
Daniel Telkmann accompanied the Autonomous Architecture studio (AAA) at four locations in Bremen this decelerated. The AAA provides these places before his own subjective way and explained to her as an example to deal with vacant properties in the city.
The samples were from the city, the suburban railway station, Oslebshausen and Blumenthal, comparable locations can be found, however, in every neighborhood.
The film lasts just under 30 minutes in advance and Nachfeld be unique footage and outtakes shown from the creation and of course there is the debate about the possibility of the film and the issue of vacancies to discuss.
