This is a powerful piece where Ann Arbor treasure Rose Martin speaks from the heart about her life, her belief's and what it means to give people who need it most dignity and a hand up.

Though I hadn't seen Rose in quite a while, she was a wonderful friend of mine. She was larger than life. Passionate. Committed. A heart as big as the open sky. As she would say, she'd "been there, done that bought the t-shirt and the hat." She will be missed sorely by her family and her friends and all the many, many people that she touched. God bless you, Rose.
