    Beautiful Work Jon!!!

I'm still editing my version. But I'm mixing all the nights together. I didn't see the second night because I couldn't keep my gear dry. Hopefully be done for early next week!

    Thanks Steve.

I'm looking forward to getting my Z-finder...and will most likely get the tactical shooter as well. :)
  • Whether you buy Zacuto gear or not, makes no difference, I still like you videos. Although, I think you'll find the Z-finder will make your 5D work much easier to do.

Wow, Great show! I hope this video is as successful for you as the last one, but without all the headaches from the pirating. The music was great again, and it sounds really good on my home system. Nicely done!

Super job, Jon. My friend Michelle (Vimeo member: Loonachic) just bought a 5dmkii. She shot B roll for my last video job and the quality is amazing! I want me one of those!

now i'm bitting my closed fist knuckles for having bought the 50D, which has... no amazing video capabilities. :)

    nice work buddy.

hope all is well, take care,

Very nice video. The music choice was awesome as well. :)

  • Man...another sensational Jon Rawlinson video:

    1) the tension and excitement of the intro.
    2) the nifty camera effects and wiz on the editing.
    3) the music, kids, it's mainly because of the musical choice.

Why Jon doesn't post more of these more often, well, dear friends, that's on a par with the rest of the universe's mysteries. And just like the world's secrets, even though we can't discern them all at once (or ever), doesn't mean we end our ceaseless quest.

    You rocked it again, JR.

This is a great video, my favorite shots were some of the first ones with the bokeh'd fireworks going off. But one thing that got me was the little shakes going on throughout...is this because the 5DMKII doesn't have a stabilization method like most video cameras? Just wondering, because some shots looked jittery, and almost took away from the graceful and smooth fireworks explosions.

Beautiful work, Jon! Was this all shot on the manual mode? It looks like you kept the image pretty clean w/o ramping into the higher ISOs. I just saw your aquarium video and look forward to more! :)

NOT your average fireworks video... I think the "reverse fireworks" were clever. Great music, too - reminds me of Death Cab...

Very nice editing with the music...! I've seen lots of pictures of firework bokeh but never a video (although I'm sure many more exist, yours will probably still be my fav, ha!). As Edvard said -- the reverse fireworks WERE very clever! Now I want to go out and see me a fireworks show...

All of your videos are really put together well. I love how you can put emotion into your editing and shooting. This one was really cool with the reverse fireworks going with the music. Great stuff!
