Document of Squidsoup's installation, using the NOVA 3D LED grid from ETHZ/horao, at Bains Numeriques in Enghiens-les-Bains, Paris, June 2009. The piece was shown in the church of St Joseph.
The piece explores the creative possibilities of using a form of reverse projection where imagery displayed on the 3D grid of LEDs, come into alignment from one specific viewpoint; from others it is an abstract flow of light.
The piece combines live processed camera footage with imagery taken from within the church, to create an abstracted reflection of the church; an evocation of place.
