Most everyone has a special outdoor place they love to visit. Some are as grand as Yellowstone. Others might be as close as your backyard. It's that place where--surrounded by nature--we connect, relax...or as one old friend once put it, "get centered."
My favorite such places are located in Washington, Oregon, New Mexico and Arizona. Some are well known. However, the location featured in this video is simply a tiny nook along the shore of Camano Island in Washington state.
On a recent Sunday, I spent the day observing an eagle's nest. The birds share the sky with local aircraft.
I hope this video lends a hint of the excitement and joy that I felt that day.
