Pleix was briefed by Wieden Kennedy to create a kinetic sculpture created with Nokia handsets, and then film it in performance.
Inspired by the layout of an orchestra they conceived an installation constructed from 840 phones that communicated between one another, creating a symphony of sound and colour from hundreds of individual phone-performances.
Pleix recorded over 600 people singing a range of notes against various graphic background and the resulting raw material was composed into a harmonic installation by a team of musicians.
