Last weekend, the snow was coming down like crazy, so I grabbed my camera and decided to wander around the Cleveland Metroparks to take some photos. When I got there, I thought maybe it is time I started to shoot some video! This is my first ever attempt to shoot anything like this on my SLR, so I learned a lot and I made some mistakes (you can see the abrupt exposure changes in a couple of clips).

I enjoy the snow and shooting in it, and exploring the forests are so much fun that I thought it would be cool to put myself in at the very end :)

High bitrate would have definitely helped with the amount of motion in these shots, but this is kind of a "worst case scenario" for pushing the OMD's video capabilities. Still, I am pleased with the results and plan on shooting more :)

Shot on the Olympus OMD E-M5 using the ZD 14-54mm.

The song is "Your Heart is an Empty Room" by Death Cab for Cutie.
