This is the Austin "Summer of Solutions" workday at the Montopolis Community Garden. The day was organized by ReEnergize Texas volunteers and involved people from American Youthworks, Sustainable Food Center, the Montopolis Community Center, and volunteers from the John Sharp Senate campaign (the event was non-partisan... we welcome volunteers from any campaign or of any political affiliation).

We had a great time getting to know one another and building up the garden site. The produce from the garden benefits the Women Infants and Children program which helps low income families get healthy affordable food.
