She prayed for a new start in life and found it through the Restoring Hope ministry at Cascade United Methodist Church in Atlanta. Cascade runs nearly 50 outreach programs from homeless ministries to job fairs. Church attendance has grown with a commitment to be relevant in the community. The Rev. Marvin Anthony Moss says every challenge is an opportunity for the church to reach new people, “Every day we are inundated with the negative aspects of what’s going on in the world. That’s when our faith kicks in.”
