"I, export"- an original performance piece

What happens when you are "exported" into another place? What will you take with you? What stories will you tell, which ones will you re-invent?
Inspired by their own biographies, performer Claudia Schwartz and composer Shaul Bustan in collaboration with director Lechay Bekerman bring you "I, export"- an evening full of wit and stories: hilarious and, ultimately, moving.

Following on from their previous work in To Die For, performer Claudia Schwartz and musician Shaul Bustan continue their interdisciplinary relationship, creating an original performance piece for Expat Expo under the direction of Lechay Bekerman.

Performer: Claudia Schwartz
Claudia graduated as an actor from the Samuel Beckett Centre, Trinity College Dublin. She has worked with Ireland's award-winning companies such as Loose Canon, Rough Magic and Making Strange. Claudia was most recently seen as Cardinal Wolsey in Utopia TM with Shakespeare in the Park Berlin, in Hold the Line- Call Center Fantasien at the Theater Aufbau Kreuzberg and in To Die For, her own one-woman show which she wrote and performed at the English Theatre Berlin.

Composer/Performer: Shaul Bustan
Shaul holds a Master degree in Composition from the Jerusalem Music and Dance Academy, Israel. He has worked with several influential orchestras and ensembles throughout Israel, Germany, Austria and the US. Most recently Shaul has composed music for the stage, developed a new project for children and is honored to work with maestro Giora Feidman.

Director: Lechay Bekerman
Lechay studied theatre directing at Tel Aviv University, Israel. She worked as an assistant director with Israel's leading theatre companies and is also the founder & artistic director of the Site-Specific-Art-Festival in Tel Aviv. She was the resident director of the international tour of Zorro- the Musical and most recently directed the experimental piece sometime @ night at the Actors-Space Berlin.
