Generations of physicians and those still in school felt called to testify in support of a measure at the Hawai`i State Legislature, which would fund the work of the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) Native Hawaiian Center of Excellence, a healthcare educational loan repayment program, the `Imi Ho`ōla Post-Baccalaureate Program and the promotion of expanded primary care medical training in Hawai`i. February 4, 2012. This clip features a Wai`anae science teacher who has been inspired to become an MD. The legislation includes Senate Bill 665 and House Bill 1383.
