Footage of the Shwedagon pagoda in Yangon, Burma combined with excerpts from speeches by Aung San Suu Kyi whose release from home arrest marked the start of a new era in Myanmar politics and whose first speech ever was also given in front of Shwedagon Pagoda, for one million listeners.
On several occasions, Suu has expressed her happiness with the change in policy and advises everyone to show some "healthy scepticism" to prevent a mirage of optimism. Indeed, one can only hope that this time, the changes are made permanent through elections and "rule of law".
Footage recorded in january 2013 - additional music by Higgs Boson on iPad apps Scape, Trope and Air.
