Sony HX1---Shot in 720p and straight from the camera. I lowered the EV by 1/3-stop.
I used my new steady-grip, which is just a 10-inch steel pipe, with a wood core glued in place. It's 1.7-inches in diameter. It has a 1/4-inch bolt embedded in the top and is wrapped with tennis racket gripping tape. A wingnut tightens it and a large fender washer spreads out the stress across the bottom of the camera. I put a rubber cane tip on the bottom. I can hold almost as steady with it for video as with my more complicated steady-mount rig and it fits in a small camera bag.
