This is an open casting call for actors to be in a short film produced by MICA and JHU students entitled "Jelly From a Donut."
The film is about Nelson, a donut with a problem. After losing all of his jelly, he fears he may have lost something more: his talent as a concert pianist. With the help of his sprinkle donut roommate, Spencer, he attempts to return to the way things were. But, realizing that his chances of creating a masterpiece are fading, Nelson's life takes a dark turn.
Auditions are being held Sunday 2/17 from 1-4pm at MICA's Brown Center Room 421 (1301 Mount Royal Ave. Baltimore, MD) No acting experience is required. The roles up for audition are as follows:
Nelson (male, age 20-30) -- full head of hair, physically fit, and able to act a wide range of emotions.
Spencer (male, age 20-30) -- warm personality
Doctor (male, age 40+) -- clean-cut, professional, good voice control
Nurse (female, age 20-40) -- mature looks, comforting
