On the back of six wins the FC lads dominated the first half to race into a 3-0 lead. Two in two minutes from a Lee Neville header and pin-point accurate shot by Matthew Wolfenden settled the Reds and the continued pressure was capped off when Adam Jones nodded on a corner for Michael Norton to nod in from close range. The restart brought no changes as the Reds added a fourth when Tom Greaves out-muscled the home keeper and slotted home from 12-yards out. Frickley fought back with a header from Jake Picton and then a penalty that shouldn't have been given, with Chris Wood converting, but the rebels held firm to achieve their best winning league run since April 2007.
