I'm posting this for the folks who took my Canon Live Learning 5DMarkII Workshop. I was demonstrating the use of the Beachtek DXA 5D with the Sennheiser ME66 Short Shotgun, along with a few takes using the Sennheiser G2 Wireless Lav system. I told them I'd post the results so they could get an idea of how this audio set-up works and sounds. An additional note: I color graded the piece with the Magic Bullet Looks software.

I've only read about how some of the indy crowd have been using magic bullet, but I haven't seen it in action until now. It really warms it up. I'm digging it.

Awesome. I love that you never let the audience know what the question is, and by the end it isn't important.

Now I have to go back a watch this a few times to see the differences in the mics.

I really like the shotgun mic and since I was there the Magic Bullet definitely makes it look a lot warmer. Thanks again for a really excellent workshop.

Wow! After witnessing the filming of what appeared to be random shots without any real direction, to see the final piece look so well thought out and so creatively put together draws me to only one conclusion: "You're the man!" Thanks for the inspiring workshop and sharing some of your tools with us.
