Dhani Harrison could not be more passionate about Thenewno2, the musical collective he founded in 2006.
The group, "more like a gang than a band", includes childhood friends Paul Hicks and Nick Fyffe, plus American musicians Jonathan Sadoff, Jeremy Faccone, and Frank Zummo.
Harrison weaves an intriguing story of how they came to be, what they are all about and why it works so well.
In fact, the only thing that gets Harrison as excited is talking about 'FOMO' (Fear Of Missing Out), the title and driving concept behind Thenewno2's upcoming album, due for release on Hot Records Ltd.
Originally a more alternative sound, the band have grown and developed into something more mature and refined, but still highly energetic and infectious. A Radiohead-ish soundscape is present thanks to Grammy
award winning producer Paul Hicks and the rich threads of bass from Aaron Older.
The band have also recently come out of yet another hugely ambitious project, dreaming up the score for the forthcoming feature film 'Beautiful Creatures' by Oscar-nominated writer/director Richard LaGravenese.
Check out their session and prepare to be taken somewhere entirely unique, amazing and beyond.
