#brothersontherun was an 8-day, 4-ski area tour that we did while in Utah and Colorado. This segment features our experience at Silverton Mountain. We spent three days in the small town of Silverton, staying at Triangle Motel, owned by Bill and Cindy MacDougall - some of the nicest and most hospitable people we have ever come across. First day at Silverton Mountain was fairly bare, but we found good lines by hiking deep, with a great group and guide. Second day, storm was rolling in with low visibility, but the snow started to pile up, and by day three, we had 18"+ of fresh pow and a beautiful sunny day. This is some of the footage of our experience shredding Silverton Mountain on days 1 and 3... It's a fantastic ski area and it's as raw as it gets - no lift lines, no restaurant, no running water, no bullshit... just steep lines and deep pow. Go to Silverton, stay at Triangle Motel and shred that mountain with all you've got! You'll have a fantastic experience the same way we did... guarantee it!
