A strange experiment with connecting my little canon zr800 to my tv with an AV cable. There are no color enhancements here, I wouldn't even know how. Hope you like it!

doing this is really really really fun...
but it can also seriously f*CK up your cameras ccd sensors.

I bet this is what tv would look like on acid.

Try that experiment next. Haha just kidding.

Nice pairing of the visuals and music.

Love it mate! How the hell did you come across that?
  • mitch phillips 7 months ago
thanks! I plugged my camcorder into my tv with an av cord, so that the tv displays whatever the camcorder is recording. But then when the camcorder is pointed at the tv screen, it makes an infinite loop, because it is trying to display itself displaying itself etc. Then any small static thats made seems the get amplified until it looks really trippy.

    at least thats my understanding...

    glad you like it

i have a friend who got really really really into video feed back.... he found that if you use older cheaper video cameras, 1 chip throw aways from thrift stores and such, that you get even better and more defined fractile patterns and colors...
he actually knew the physics of what was going on with video feedback and at one point had a trippy narrative that he would give about how video feedback is really more or less a great metaphor for our consciousness awakening...unfolding... and such...
but yes... like too much acid.... if you keep your camera looking at it's self for too long... eventually it gets burnt out.
