100 year-old 2 story farm house in the small town of Clearwater, Manitoba, Canada.
The structure was mostly rough-sawn Douglas Fur timbers with 1" thick hardwood on the main floor and 3/4" thick hardwood on the second floor, no sub-floor at all.
Balloon framed 2"x6" exterior walls clad in tongue and groove cedar with a cedar shake roof.
The house was vacant for many decades and slowly deteriorating.
Deconstruction took only four days by a crew of eleven with hand tools, a chainsaw and tractor.
All the good wood was salvaged and will live on in future projects.
Thanks and appreciation to the town of Clearwater, the Harvestmoon Society and all who participated in this great event.
