Bierkraft is your one stop shop to beer from all around the world and country. Richard and I stopped by this shop on rainy Sunday afternoon to pick up lunch before heading back to my house to watch Sunday Football. We were surprised by the sheer amount of people that were in the store before even noticing the variety of beer they had. We had the Roast Beef Sandwich, which was a perfect marriage of North American Wagyu Roast Beef, aged cheddar, arugula, horseradish mayo, which is made in-house.

For our OMG Foodie feature, we met Ben Granger, owner of Bierkraft. Ben had a great personality - laid back with some spunk. He spoke enthusiastically about Bierkraft, about the food they serve and the great selections they offered. The store had a lot of character to it, split into two sections, simply the beer side & sandwich/dining room side. The Dining Room had a long wooden table with sandbag looking cushions on the benches, beer labels decorated the wall, menu were well written in colourful chalk laid atop exposed brick wall and an unimposing ice cream sandwich refrigerator welcomed you by the beer/draft register. Speaking of Ice Cream Sandwiches, ranked one of the best ones in NYC, the cookies which are made in-house are paired with a generous serving of Il Laboratorio del Gelato. (Rich and I will def. be back for that in the summer). It's a great place to pick up lunch/dessert/drinks if you're in Park Slope, Brooklyn. You can bring it to go or eat it in the dining room. They also fill growlers (1/2 a gallon of beer) and sell them on the beer side, so be sure to bring a group.
