This water source is considered "poor," so it is primarily used by old women and sick villagers who can't walk the 3 hours into the gorge to fetch water. Lately, hyena attacks in the gorge have made the poor water source a favorable option, even for the strong. The water only lasts through December, though, so after that women must travel back to the gorge again.

Because of the funds raised during the 2008 September Campaign, a water project has been built in Tsefet Kifli Village. The people here now have clean, safe drinking water.
