Yah-Leng Yu, the principal of Foreign Policy Design Group, was formally trained at the Art Institute of Boston before moving to New York City where she worked with some of the world’s most interesting names.

Some of these brands include Versace, Bvlgari, Vivienne Westwood, Oscar de la Renta and Ferragamo. Her works have been also recognized and honored by AIGA, Brand New Awards, FPO Awards, Tokyo Type Director’s Club, The Art Director’s Club et cetera.

In 2007, Yah-Leng moved to the tropical island of Singapore where she co-founded Foreign Policy Design Group. She wears multiple hats as creative director, art director, designer, idea maker and problem solver.

Arthur Chin is an aficionado of branding and strategy, he is also a big idea maker and visionary design thinker.

He cut his teeth in New York City in consultancy and strategy, and had lived in Bangkok, Melbourne, Indiana and New York City.

Arthur is also a founding principal and a pivotal steerer of the group.

To kickstart the new year and global theme of Happiness, for the first time we had 2 speakers taking stage and sharing their journey.

You may follow Yah-Leng Yu on Twitter via @yahlengyu and Arthur Chin via @arthur_chin. Alternatively, you may follow the group's Twitter feed at @foreignpolicydg

The event was generously hosted by The HUB (thehub.sg/) in Singapore.
