Meet Cheryl and David. They're a farm-raised, hardworking couple who have been selling their locally raised meats since 1993. They opened their mom-and-pop shop so they could sell directly to the consumer "because their meat is too good to sell any other way."
What's their recipe? Raising hormone and antibiotic-free beef, pork, lamp, veal and goat on their Marysville family farm, and delivering the fresh meat to the Market nearly every day for the past 15 years.
Their inspiration? Family. Both the biological kind and the North Market customer kind.
Their latest adventure? Launching bluescreekfarmmeats.com.
Where can you find them? Just south of the mid-Market point, directly across from Grapes of Mirth. Happily selling homegrown, naturally raised meats in a variety of cuts, Tuesday through Sunday.
