This is a little circuit-bent keyboard that sounds much like the drifting tones of IDM group Boards of Canada.
It's got an optical pitch resistor hidden inside, which allows you to wave your hand in front and alter the pitch.
Additionally, there's an added LFO that pulses the pitch, whose rate is variable.
