Just a short test I did to showcase the reframing possibilities you get when shooting 4K. I'm amazed by the Canon 1DC's 4K image quality. But most important for me is the editing freedom it gives me in post. The capacity to zoom in 200% without losing any image quality when editing 4K in a 2K timeline opens up so many possibilities: simulated dolly shots, cut aways for dramatic effect, etc.
Sorry if some of the shots were not in focus. If the 1DC only had the "peaking" tool, it would make focusing so much easier. I desperately hope we get it in a future firmware update. That aside, shooting with the 1DC and editing it's breathtaking 4K footage has been a joy. I just regret that I have to return the rental tomorrow.
