Meet Alex. He's the happy, smiling, social proprietor of what's known as "the potato salad place" and gladly carries on the Gatterdamn tradition of selling farm-fresh eggs at the Market.
What's his recipe? Made-by-hand deli salads and sandwiches using tried-and-true Heil family recipes and the hands of Bobby Heil.
His inspiration? People. Pure and simple.
His latest adventure? Inventing seasonal specialties and making sure customers know he's now selling Gatterdam eggs.
Where can you find him? On the east side of the MArket directly across from The Greener Grocer and across the side aisle from Expressly Market Bakery & Bistro. Serving up meats and cheeses by the pound, making hot and cold sandwiches, soups, salads, and churning out pounds of potato salad daily.
