A day at La Ronde
We spend a day at "La Ronde" in Montreal (July 2009)
GH1 at 720p60, 1/125 Shutter Speed, Iso 100. Canon FD prime lens, 135mm f2.5, 50mm f1.4, 28mm f2.8, some Cokin's ND filters used.
Drop in Premiere CS4 720p60 timeline, convert with Adobe media encoder at 720p24, CC with Magic Bullet Looks.
Music - Black Eyed Peas - I gotta feeling

I use 720p60 mostly because 1080p24 has the infamous "mud" problem when you pan the camera or for fast action.
Most of the time I dropped the 720p60 footage in 720p24 timeline and it playback perfectly at 24fps, I do this because I want the "film look", the freedom to slow it down is a bonus... a nice one :)
I dont think the image quality is as good as the 5dm2 but for the price its pretty close.
Jean.

What monopod do you use? What head? Size and class of SDHC cards? How many of them and batteries do you typically have with you?
Any advice on planning shots before or do you merely take interesting individual shots and assemble them into something with continuity.
You have become a master at your filming and editing!
Looking forward to more of your work!
I'm using a Manfrotto 560B, Panasonic Class 6, 4GB cards, I typically have one spare battery and card with me.
Sometime I plan my shots but most of the time I take interesting individual shots and then I try to make some sort of continuity in post.
I wish you fun with it.
