Chris Budwig used to work as a senior chemist for a major international food company. The pay was great and so was the social status; but the purpose to him felt somehow slim. So, he quit and moved with his wife and kids to Flagstaff, AZ in search of a sense of community and purpose. He eventually made his way back to the food industry, but in a completely different way. He started volunteering at a local soup kitchen - the “Flagstaff Family Food Center”. He serves today as its board's president.
