In a new report, Amnesty International lashed out at Saudi Arabia over abuses allegedly committed as part of its counter-terrorism operations. The human rights group said that since 2001, thousands of Saudi suspects had been detained for years without charge or trial, and described the Kingdom’s human rights record as 'shocking' and 'dire'.
