I love it. How did you make the pull out in the beginning so smooth on an SLR?

  • Sam Javanrouh 9 months ago
Thanks David. The pull is done in post in After Effects, since the source files are higher resolution than HD there is no loss of resolution.

As soon as that red car parked at 00:29, I couldn't take my eyes off it - until it left of course. Very cool time lapse.

It's like the video was lit and shot for the red car.

I know, right? Thought that was really cool.

I go more for the Yellow car on the left. He kind of wiggles around, then finds his spot. Then sits there. The only yellow car. With a sunroof. Just there. On the edge. At the corner. Waiting for 'em to come back and wiggle some more.

I didn't even see the red car the first time.

I think it's the bus that does it for me at 00:39....the people are in a queue waiting to get on......it symbolizes how we as people are….trying to get from one place to another….I’m a big fan of mass trans systems and how society uses it – or in some cases doesn’t use it….which is a shame. Nice vid….keep it up….I would say though….maybe you should add sound!?!?

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
You fritter and waste the hours in an off hand way

Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way...

you know the song right? every frame of this work is relavant to that song. I think I saw this work about a year ago on top left Pixel. It's a good one.

    Hi Wvs,
    very basic question..
are these photographs put together or a video?

if they are Photographs, how did u put them together like this? what software did u use?

what ever the case may be, its an awesome piece of art.

I have seen your "Players" video and liked the music comment particularly... maybe you could use here something like "Flight of the bumble bee"... I don't know much about photography, but seems to me that you obtain kind of an acceleration as video plays, because of reduced light (cars leave longer trays, for example).
anyway, it's amazing as it is!
