Osceola County Corrections Officer Reeshemah Taylor was honored with the Public Safety Officer Medal of Valor by Vice President Joe Biden and Attorney General Eric Holder in a White House ceremony on Wednesday. The award is given to those who exhibit exceptional courage in saving and protecting others and whose heroic actions were above and beyond the call of duty.
