    Gesine--your golden eggs were one of my favorites from the Montpelier confectionary. Dumb question: could you make the batter light and fluffy enough using a hand mixer?

    You can make it light and fluffy with a hand mixer. You just have to take the time. Now go to it and make something delicious!
