I have terabytes of public domain images I've collected since the mid 90's. This Civil War Soldier has the most far away, traumatized, yet still alive, look I've ever seen. I find myself wondering what complex set of event's befell him at such an early age. How would I fare in his boots? Stories like this mans were likely never told. Not to wives, not to brothers, not to historians. The connective tissue of history itself is un-told stories. Untold to all except God himself, who likely welcomed this hurt soul home with great tenderness and rejoicing. Overlaying him is a US Wind Map. I about fell over when I found that it's so cool....
