Will there be a scene in the kitchen? Just wondering why you're lighting it. The long, zoom-out thingy at the end -- was it with your Merlin or just tripod? It's a bit shaky, but I like the effect.
PS: What's the name of the song. I love it. It was on the (500) Days of Summer trailer.

Hey Sean if you want the name in the bright sign to show up you shoot the scene twice and use cookie cutter to combine the scenes.

Mount the camera to a tripod, shoot the scene with the exposure set for the background and actors. Without moving the camera, shoot a few seconds with the exposure set for the bright sign. Cookie cut aorund and and you should have both..

you could try it anyway. :)
