I was wondering.. How much was th HV40 when you got it? Because I'm looking to get a Canon HD Camcorder in November for under $750.I'm looking at:

Cool. Hopefully It drops in price by November because I'd get the HV40 in an instant. One of the main reason why I would get it, is because of the Native 24p.

Very nice work! What exactly is SmoothCam FxPlug? I was thinking of getting the HV40 to shoot Music Vids. Would you recommend it for that?

Thanks... SmoothCam is a Final Cut's Plug-In that can simulate optical image stabilizer. I think Canon HV is perfect for all kind of things! It's a small Pro Camera :D

Enjoy the best of its manual focus HV40 and a steadycam would be a good investment to stabilize their videos. Hugs and good shooting.

Excellent! The HV30 is £655 and the HV40 is £800 and the HV20 is even cheaper :/ Not sure which one to get

i really like the color correction you applied, specially arriving to he southern lighthouse. and it's very steady as well... the road was really full of pot holes!

eheh... the road made me crazy so the stabilization it's a software rendering by SmoothCam FxPlug for Final Cut (or iMovie).
