The morning after a huge storm rolled down the coast leaving flooding, downed trees and torn-off roofs, Stu and I joined big schools of grommy kids to surf some of the shore break at The Skillion at Mona Vale. Usually one of the flattest spots on the Northern Beaches, it was the only break for miles around that was surfable for the young'uns.
...and me and Stu, but because we're old and fat.
