This Documentary has yet to be released. It gives an in-depth, behind the scenes view of the artists that were involved in the Widely Unknown Exhibit in 2001 at Deitch galleries following the passing of Margaret Kilgallen due to complications from Breast Cancer.
Most of the interviews and footage were taken by my father, Ralph Ackerman who passed away in 2008 due to complications from Throat Cancer and ultimately Kidney failure.
I hope to release it, possibly even re-edit portions...but it has been a very difficult project to address due to the tragedies, the total lack of finances and ultimately being overwhelmed by the entire situation.
I have done all the graphics, titling, editing and sound mixing, in addition to half of the interviews, and ultimately hope to elaborate on this documentary at some point with maybe advd of a larger update. Since it's taken so long to get this far...this is it.
